These terms cover your use of PDFPax ("the site"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the tools.
Free use, as-is
Every tool on PDFPax is free to use for personal and commercial purposes, with no account required and no watermark added to your files. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind — we don't guarantee it will be available at all times, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Keep your originals
Although processing happens locally in your browser, things can still go wrong: a browser crash, a corrupted input file, or an unexpected result. Always keep a copy of your original files before using any tool. We are not liable for lost, damaged or altered files, or for any consequences of relying on a tool's output.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site for unlawful purposes. In particular:
- Don't use the tools to create, alter or distribute content that infringes someone else's rights or breaks the law.
- Don't attempt to disrupt the site — for example, by probing it for vulnerabilities or overloading it with automated requests.
- The password-protection tool adds a basic layer of deterrence; it is not a substitute for proper document security or legal advice.
Changes and availability
We may add, change or discontinue tools and pages at any time, without notice. Because the site is a free service, we make no commitment about uptime or long-term availability.
Intellectual property
The PDFPax name, logo and site design belong to us. You're welcome to link to the site, but please don't copy it wholesale or present it as your own.
